Mission Statement

To provide the citizens of Fairborn with the proper planning and efficient delivery of daily utility services appropriate to the smooth and healthful function of the City.

Specific Functions

• Secures State and Federal funding assistance for public works projects.
   
• Ensures response to relevant citizen concerns.
   
• Monitors the design and construction of public improvements.
   
• Provides for the safe and efficient movement of traffic on City streets.
   
• Negotiates contracts and monitors the proper removal of residential trash.
   
• Coordinates the production and distribution of a safe water supply, and the proper operation of the sanitary sewer system.
   
• Assures the return of environmentally safe wastewater into the waterways.
