Welcome To Fire Station 1
495 N. Broad St..
Fairborn Fire Station #1 is located on N. Broad Street near Wright-Patterson AFB. The station's primary response district is the northern portion of the City including the downtown area. The station became fully-operational in early January 2007, and was built to replace the existing station at 29 N. Broad Street.
The current apparatus assignment at Station #1 is Engine 1, Medic 1 and reserve Medic 6. The station is staffed 24/7 by four personnel. The Company Officer and Pump Operator are assigned to the Engine, with two Firefighters assigned to the Medic unit. All personnel are Paramedic certified, and all front-line apparatus is Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipped.
The on-duty Chief Officer has an office in the station, and is responsible for normal day-to-day scheduling of personnel. In front of the station is the Fairborn Firefighter Memorial. The bell on the granite pedestal came from the belltower in old station #1 when it was a schoolhouse. A small section of the fire pole from the old station is mounted in the new station's lobby.
Welcome To Fire Station 2
2200 Commerce Center Blvd.
Fairborn Fire Station #2 is located on Commerce Center Boulevard just off of Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd. The station's primary response district is the southeast portion of the City. The station became fully-operational on January 5th, 2007.
Currently housed at Fire Station #2 is Medic 2,and Reserve Engine 6. The station is staffed by two personnel as budget permits. The primary response vehicle in the station is Medic 2. The crew will also staff Tanker 2 if needed for fires in non-hydranted areas within the Township and City.
This station is the only one in the City to have a fire training tower. The tower is useful in that crews can practice high-rise evolutions, rope rescue training and aerial apparatus operations. Crews can pump almost 1,000 gallons of water into the tower to simulate supplying a sprinker system in a commercial type building.
The station has 5 bedrooms, a large open kitchen area with commercial-grade appliances. It is also the only station that has a formal training room that is also utilized by the public as a community room. The building is also equipped with a police sub-station.
Welcome To Fire Station 3
1000 Yellow-Springs Fairfield Rd.
Fairborn Fire Station #3 is located on Yellow-Springs Fairfield Road near I-675. The station's primary response district is the northeast portion of the City and Bath Township. The station was originally built in 1975, and was remodeled in 2007.
Currently housed at station #3 is Engine 3 and Medic 3. The station is staffed 24/7 by two or four personnel - depending on daily staffing. When staffed with two, either the Medic or Engine respond depending on the call. When staffed with four, a Company Officer and Pump Operator are assigned to the Engine, and two Firefighters are assigned to the Medic unit. All personnel are Paramedic certified and all apparatus is Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipped. Included in the response district of Station #3 are two nursing homes, I-675 and a large portion of Bath Township.
The station has 5 bedrooms, a large open kitchen with commercial grade appliances and two drive-through bays. The station also has a police sub-station.
Welcome To Fire Station 4
444 W. Funderburg Rd.
Fairborn Fire Station #4 is located on Funderburg Road near Dayton-Yellow Springs Road. The station's primary response district is the southwest portion of the City and Bath Township. This station also covers Wright State University. It was originally built in 1975, and remodeled in 2007.
Station #4 houses, Medic 4, reserve Engine 5 and reserve Medic 5. The station is staffed 24/7 by four or five personnel-depending on the daily staffing. When staffing allows, Quint 4's crew consists of a Company Officer, Pump Operator and a Firefighter. Two additional Firefighters are assigned to the Medic unit. The additional Firefighter on the Quint is lost when staffing is limited to four personnel. All personnel are Paramedic certified, and all front-line apparatus is Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipped.
The station has five bedrooms, a large kitchen area, two drive-through bays and a police sub-station.
Welcome To Police Fire Dispatch
70 W. Hebble Ave.
The Dispatch Center is located inside the Fairborn Police Department. The Center is responsible for both call taking and dispatching emergency equipment to the scene. The Center is staffed with two personnel who dispatch for both the Police and Fire Departments.
The Dispatch Center was rennovated in 2008 in order to keep up with current and future technology.

The offices of the Fire Chief and the other Chief officers are located in the City building. The City building is located between Central Avenue and Broad Street, next door to the Police Department. This facility has a training room which is used for lectures and meetings of all types.
