On August 28th, 2007, FGTV-10 moved to cable channel 5, and began a new era in access television in Fairborn. Fairborn Government TV-5 was born.

FTV-5 will continue its gavel to gavel meeting coverages, its local productions including Our Fairborn Heritage, My Hometown, Safety First and Community Spotlight.

It will also continue to carry other state and federal programs as time permits.

FGTV-5 is one of four access channels provided by Time/Warner under our franchise agreement. The other access channels are Public channel 23 and Educational channels 6 (FCS) and 21 (WSU).

Government Access TV-5 is your direct link to the city without leaving the comfort of your living room.

The Fairborn City Council meetings are broadcast live on the first and third Mondays of each month. Planning Board Meetings are also broadcast live and replayed daily until the next meeting.

My Hometown keeps you informed about projects in the community and community events. In addition, continuous messages keep you up-to-date on what's happening in Fairborn.
