Battalion Chief Mccoy is a 31-year veteran of the Fairborn Fire Department (FFD).  He was appointed to the rank of Lieutenant in 1999, then to the Battalion Chief of EMS on July 24, 2004.

The EMS Division is an intregal part of ensuring that the citizens of Fairborn receive the best pre-hospital emergency care from knowledgeable and competent paramedics and emergency medical technicians.  Chief McCoy ensures that personnel have the best equipment possible and are highly trained. 

Chief McCoy maintains certification records of all personnel and assists in annual protocol testing.
