Hometown Holiday Festival

Holiday Horses

Join us in celebrating the holiday season and participate in the Fairborn Hometown Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting on Friday, December 1, 2017. We encourage everyone to be a part of this fun, family-oriented event! The parade will begin at Second St. and Main St. and will travel east on Main St. through downtown Fairborn. 

All Holiday Parade entry forms must be received by Friday, November 24, 2017.  

CARRIAGE RIDES – 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Enjoy a free carriage ride down Main Street.  The carriage rides will board and drop off at two different locations on Main Street.  This is a fun experience for the whole family to enjoy! 

SANTA’S CANDY CANE LANE - 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This family fun area located at Fifth Third Commons at the corner of Main Street and Grand Avenue will have various free kid activities and a chance to have your picture taken with Santa.  Come participate in the following activities:

  • Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus
  • FREE Crafts & Coloring Area 
  • Christmas story telling and activities
  • Pony rides $1 ticket cost

HOLIDAY PARADE AND TREE LIGHTING – 6:00 p.m.

The Holiday Parade takes place along Main Street, it begins at Second Street and Main Street and will travel East on Main Street through our downtown ending on Central Avenue in front of the Fairborn Chamber of Commerce building.  Santa will be at the end of the parade and will light the downtown Christmas Tree!  Santa will also be available for a short time after he lights the tree.  The Fairborn Civic Band will be playing holiday music at Central Avenue and Main Street during the Festival festivities!
